Capucine is an Associate at Kennet Partners, responsible for sourcing and supporting technology companies across Europe, with a focus on France.
Prior to joining Kennet, Capucine worked at Clipperton, a European tech-focused investment bank, where she advised software companies on M&A, LBO, growth equity, and debt financing transactions.
Capucine holds a BSc in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University.
Claus Johansen is an experienced founder, CEO and board leader with more than 25 years of building and scaling international software and technology businesses.
Claus has led companies from early growth through to successful exits, including the sale of eloomi (where Kennet was an investor) to Dayforce in 2024. His background spans enterprise IT, SaaS and AI-driven platforms across Europe and the US, with expertise in operational execution, commercial scaling and organisational leadership. As both an entrepreneur and investor, Claus advises high-growth companies on strategy, M&A and performance, while continuing to build his own ventures and serve as a board chair. Known for his direct, hands-on style, he works closely with management teams to strengthen execution and accelerate sustainable growth. Originally from Denmark and now based in Orlando, Florida, Claus brings an international perspective and a pragmatic, collaborative approach to the companies he supports.
Katie is Head of Finance at Kennet, responsible for all aspects of both fund and management group finance and reporting, as well as providing ad-hoc transactional support.
Before joining Kennet, Katie was an Associate Vice President within the Fund Management team at The Carlyle Group in London following their acquisition of Abingworth where she was the Senior Finance Manager.
Katie began her career with EY where she gained Assurance experience in both London and Sydney for a variety of clients in the Wealth and Asset Management sector.
Katie is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and holds a Master's degree in Maths and Physics from Durham University.
Gillian is the Executive Assistant to the Kennet London team.
Gill began her career at the Bank of England in 1996. She has since worked for a number of Financial Institutions and Insurance groups, including HSBC, Credit Suisse and Beazley Group. She is now a Partner at SmartPA, who offer bespoke business support to clients.
