Before joining Kennet, Hans-Christian was a Partner at ViewPoint, where he was responsible for European software companies including the next-generation Business Intelligence Software provider Arcplan (acquired by Marlin Equity Partners) and the enterprise content management software provider Saperion (acquired by Lexmark). Prior to joining ViewPoint, Hans-Christian Perle worked with the growth fund AdAstra focusing on software and telecom related investments, including the repositioning and exit of SUSE Linux. Hans-Christian started his career in Private Equity with the Swiss investment group Invision where he primarily focused on investments in the telecommunications and E-business sector. Earlier, he was CTO of Interline Telco AG, an internationally operating start-up in the VoIP sector.
Hans-Christian is a board member of Acrolinx, market leader in terminology and language management software, Dovetail, provider of enterprise-class software solutions that support the cost effective processing of banking payments and HYPE Software, a provider of idea and innovation management software.
Dr. Hans-Christian Perle studied electrical engineering at the University of Stuttgart (Germany) and received an MS degree as Fulbright scholar at the University of Missouri at Rolla (USA). He holds a PhD in communication technology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
